    Bingham serves as primary counsel to the Tandon family, which founded Tandon Magnetics Corporation, one of the first producers of hard-disk drives for personal computers. That company, together with several others founded or owned by the Tandons, has manufacturing operations in India. The Tandon family business is among the largest technology sector exporting groups in India, with facilities in Mumbai and Chennai. Bingham has also worked with the division of the Tandon family business that manufactures computer power supplies in India and Sri Lanka. Both Tandon family companies are publicly traded in the U.S.

     

    Bingham represents Celetron International, Ltd, a Bermuda company with operations in both India and California that has attracted more than $60 million in venture capital.

     

    Bingham has experience restructuring investments in India, including representing Owens Corning in connection with the restructuring of its Indian joint venture Owens Corning, India, a manufacturer of glass-fiber products, and representing an Indian manufacturer of glass containers seeking to purchase U.S. assets through a pre-negotiated Chapter 11 sale.
